Alexander M. Clegg (b. 1999, Michigan, USA) is an American photographer based in Kraków, Poland. He graduated from Wayne State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Slavic Studies, where he focused on the Polish language, theories in globalisation, and the history of Hungarian Jews. He is currently a graduate student of International Security & Development at Uniwersytet Jagielloński, where he researches the juncture between aesthetics and security. His photographs focus on a variety of ideas, from rural life and roads less travelled, to occasional journalistic work. When he is not reading through reams of academic journals, he’s probably drinking his 7th cup of coffee for the day, taking street photos, or cycling out to rural villages.
